In this time of coronavirus crisis, many of you have been sending me messages asking if I made to Brazil, as I have planned since October last year. So, I decided to do this post.
Yes, I made it! I am now in the Amazon at my parents’. I arrived here 1 day before our Prime Minister of Australia, where I live, announced the travel ban. The trip went very well, and all protections were in place – I used mask all the time, spray sanitiser, sanitiser wipes and washed my hands as often as I could.

I could see a great consciousness of the majority of people on the planes, at the airports, and in particular in Chile, where they were testing everyone for fever and doing the paperwork for control. Arriving in Manaus, before I hugged and kissed my parents, I put all my clothes in a plastic bag to be washed separately.
I don’t think I will be able to go to Rio and São Paulo as planned. I will stay in Manaus until I’m able to go back to Australia, originally planned to the end of April.
In this time of big concerns, I’d like to encourage you to look after yourself, your family, your friends, not exposing yourself to crowds, avoid public places and stay home as much as you can.
Instead of being in front of the TV the whole day, grab that book that you were willing to read, enjoy your family company, play with your kids, have meaningful conversations...If you are alone, use your writing skills, listen to music, meditate – enjoy your own company!
I believe we have an unprecedent opportunity to stop, to slow down, and reconnect to ourselves, to our feelings, to re-evaluate relationships, priorities, focus, and everything that we were neglecting because of the BUSY-NESS of our world!
Our Coaching Sessions will be online until further notice, and I’m happy to help you learn and enjoy your time alone at home and put this anxiety away.
And don’t panic, take the precautions you need to take and do what you can do. This virus is a serious threat, but so is FEAR. You can choose between FEAR and FAITH. They belong to 2 opposite worlds. I’m choosing FAITH – FAITH that God is looking after us, FAITH that this crisis is going to pass. And FAITH that you will believe you are going to be OK. I pray for FAITH and PEACE over you!
See you soon!
