How are you coping with the isolation? I know many people are going crazy...other feeling depressed and full fear, but others in denial.

If you stay in front of the TV or on social media all the time, that is NOT going to help you. So, I want to share with you 5 simple ideas to help you go through this challenging time!

5 simple ideas to cope with quarentine

1. First of all, get a journal and write down a check list with everything you couldn’t do because you didn’t have time, and prioritise – I actually recommend this to all my clients (and friends though!)

2. Clean out your wardrobe! That will help you clean out your thoughts and calm down your heart!...Organise your wardrobe and give to charities what you don’t need any more, or you can even use the Marie Kondo techniques and ask yourself with clothes and objects bring you joy! (lol)...you can get her series on Netflix! See another tip :-). I’m sure there are other areas in the house that you could declutter too...maybe the kitchen cupboards, the garage, the shed...

3. Establish a routine for this time... what time are you waking up, showering, water the plants, make a nice breakfast, eat healthy and look after your loved ones. Call your parents, your kids, your grandparents, or friends to check them out! And time to do some work if you’re working from home.

4. Go back to your bookshelf and choose one of those books you haven’t read yet.

5. Find a time, and may I suggest...early morning – because you certainly won’t need more sleep after some days!...if where you are, you are allowed to go out for a walk early morning, do it! If not, go to the backyard, or your veranda, or on your window!...feel the quietness...reconnect with nature and feel the pleasures of breathing a cleaner air...hug some trees...talk to the birds...be intentional in having a divine encounter...meditate... and ask the Spirit of God to fill your lungs, to fill your whole body with His peace and joy...PUSH THE BUTTON: RESET! you are alive!

There is a purpose of you been alive in this time. Think about that – think about what difference you can make to yourself, to your family, your community, and the planet!...

I’m positive that if you follow these 5 simple ideas, you will find a way to not only cope, but to go through this time and become a better you!
