We should support innovation and innovative minds. Stimulating lifelong learning and infinite minds thinking.

This is something that I've been working with my clients, stirring this mentality to have an infinite mind, untapping their creative capacity, and not setting limits to what they are capable of, to their potential of being whoever they want to be, and to realize whatever they want to. Help them organize their thoughts, feelings, emotions, support them and to build their own future with strategic thinking. Encouraging people to overcome their limitations and understand they are a whole person and they are winners. Working to empower them to thrive!

So how do we do that?

The key is emotional intelligence. This is the big tool that will help with the inflection point we are getting to in this post pandemic scenario. That means developing skills to be in a constant adaptation environment through social skills, self-management, self-awareness, social-awareness, creating conditions for the development of people who can change the world.

I really like the story of the WhatsApp Founder, Jan Koum. He is a great example of someone who used his potential, associated with a high dose of emotional intelligence, to be successful. His life has got to an inflection point. Inflection points create new realities that we can hardly foresee. Koum was an engineer from Ukraine who migrated to the US with nothing. He, his Mom and his grandma, with no money, depending on food tickets from the government to eat. While working for Yahoo! , he had a constant thought: “I want to do 1 thing and do it well”. He then worked on the development of an independent communication app, when no one would think that would be necessary, or even something one would like to use. It was so successful that it got the attention of Facebook, who bought it for 19 billion dollars in 2014 and actually signed the contract in the same building he used to get his food ticket… WhatsApp has over 2 billion users worldwide as of February 2020.

High emotional intelligent individuals are the ones who are able to move through the different tides and obstacles, creating new opportunities where others see blockages. They build their own breakthroughs, starting with their own world, their relationships, community and society.

Your desire in life might be completely different than Koum’s. But you certainly have dreams, and you certainly have a purpose in your life. How do you feel about your Emotional Intelligence competency? What is stopping you to be where you like to be?

I have specific methodologies and some tools that can assist you on this journey.
